Family planning clinic
We provide a full range of family planning services. Our practice nurses will be pleased to help with general advice, pill checks and cap fittings, or you can see a doctor by appointment. Free condoms are available, to the under 25s, on request from reception, nurses and doctors. At present we do not offer implants or coil fittings.
New patient health checks
If you have just registered with us you will be asked to make an appointment with our practice nurse or healthcare assistant for a new patient check. As part of this check they will want to test a urine sample. By registering for a new patient check and attending you will successfully complete the registration process.
Postnatal checks
You will be sent an appointment between 6 and 12 weeks after the birth of your baby.
Preconception and early pregnancy care
If you are planning a pregnancy please try to see your GP or Nurse before you conceive. If you are pregnant come and see us as soon as you can.

Sexual health checks
This is a confidential service which offers advice, screening and treatment for sexually transmitted diseases. This includes testing for HIV, emergency contraception and a wide range of different contraceptives. Provided by the nurses.

Travel vaccinations
Please arrange these at least 6 weeks before you travel. This practice uses the TRAVAX travel advice service and patients are asked to access this before they can make an appointment. Please enquire at Reception for clarification.
Well woman clinic checks
We want to make sure that all our female patients are up to date with smears, and are breast aware. We also offer a full range of contraceptive services. The service is provided by the nurses.
